Ft. Boomerang, Grunt, & The Spunky Monkey @the playroom

Not the best idea.

The day started off ok.  Izzy and Kael ran around the yard playing with their new Grunt Monkey Guns.  Flying monkeys are awesome! They only kinda hurt, so it's best to be the shooter! 

Kael is learning to run very fast to keep away from Izzy but her aim isn't that great so he doesn't have too many bruises.

They monkey'd round for a while and had such a fun time playing.

Then Mom called on them to come in and clean up.  They were going to have some company for dinner. 

So they ran inside and started to get ready. Izzy said she would help Kael get all cleaned up. What a good helper she is.

Boomerang Halloween Hoodies

So while mom was running their bathwater, Izzy decided Kael needed a haircut. Moms always think they look so "cute" after their haircuts. Kael agreed because after haircuts they always get a trip through the drive thru for a ice cream cone if they hold still and are really good. 

She made him sit down and said, "hoedstill" and he did, he really likes ice cream.

Izzy took out the little scissors she had put in a very safe spot and started to snip here and there......  

Kael smiled and pulled at his cute little hoodie strings while his sister chopped away.  He started to think it wasn't a very good idea when he saw the big red chunks hit the floor, this didn't feel like his normal hair cuts. But,  he knew that usually when Izzy didn't have a good idea, he got her desert so he just kept smiling maybe he would get her ice cream from the drive thru when she was done.

  ... and then they heard it, that familiar scream. 

In Mom's biggest your in big trouble missy voice, "IZZY, NO!"

She dropped the scissors.

Kael didn't get ice cream, Mom said he would have to go get a real haircut tomorrow and he would get ice cream if he was good.

But he did get a extra dollop of whip cream on his pumpkin pie that almost everyone had after dinner.
