Don't get caught with hamsters!

A couple of months ago, Izzy brought home a hamster.

A couple of weeks ago.. that hamster multiplied.

Izzy's mom did not know this, until she walked in on Izzy and her harem of hamsters.

Izzy's mom decided it might be time to clean her room, and see if there are any other creatures that need new homes. 

Izzy's mom explained that the little hamsters needed a bigger home, they had outgrown her dresser drawer. 

So she sent the kids to the go-kart park while she explored Izzy's room.  She knew there would be too much complaining if the kids tried to help, and she would never make it out the door with any of the critters she feared she would find. 

While she accomplished this task, Kael and Izzy spent the afternoon on the race track. It was unicorns vs. dragons and it wasn't clear who won but they tied on the cuteness factor. 

They came home to clean rooms. Mom had to talk to them and set a few rules. 

No more pets, unless mother approved.

No more hidden frosting from the pantry.

No more dirty socks in the toy box.

And no more gum wall!  

They were a little sad that some of their favorite things were gone.

But they learned that if you have to hide something in your room it probably doesn't  belong there.

And, we don't want your mom cleaning your room.

Does anyone have a piece of gum?
