Mom's are the best!

Christmas is coming. Izzy and Kael are getting so excited! 

They have been driving their mom crazy with questions; when will Santa come, do all reindeer fly? What if it snows? Will Santa take some of this cookies to Mrs Claus? Do elves take naps? What if they forget a present? So many questions...

Their mom had to find something for them to do to with all that excited energy. So, they hung the Christmas socks above the fireplace. They talked about what treats they should leave out on Christmas Eve. They talked about what they hoped they would find in their stalkings. Kael wants a hot wheel! Izzy wants a new sharpie, and maybe some scissors. Does Mrs Claus pack the stocking stuffers for Santa?

So, their Mom let them write another letter... this time to Mrs Claus!  They both thanked her for helping Santa, and they let her know what treats they would like in their socks. But, they had to have a reason they deserved each thing they asked for. They only have a few more day's to earn their wish list.  

After they finished, it was a good time for hot cocoa. They took a trip out to the cocoa stand. Mom let them put a candy cane in each of their cups. They spent some time walking outside looking at the colorful lights, then settled  down on a bench enjoying their hot chocolate and snuggling up.

They just might write to Mrs Claus every year! If she takes care of everyone in the North Pole, like their Mom takes care of them, then Mrs Claus deserves some cookies too!

Kael gave the rest of his favorite candy cane to his mom, and a extra tight hug.
