Rain Rain Go away.....

The rain can't stop us!  

The clouds come out and those drops start to fall and we just put on our umbrella and take on the storm.

The sky can be grey, and a river pouring down, but no matter how hard it falls, we keep each other dry.

After all, we are Rayne's.

We are used to making the best of a few drops. When it pours we just grin and bear it. 

And we always make the best out of it. 

Why wait for the sun when you can dance in the rain.

Eventually the sun will come out, you won't always need an umbrella. 

  When the skies clear up, it just makes those times that much sweeter. 

But you never know how long till  the next sunbreak. 

So, don't worry when the skies turn grey, just take on the day and know tomorrow could be better.

And even if it is not, it is another day to enjoy.

 Keep and umbrella and sunscreen, and open that door prepared for anything!

Kickin' Round!

Izzy & Kael have a special cooler full of snacks in the yard. Their mom say's this is to keep them sweet.

Izzy found a chocolate donut! 😋

It's going to be a good day.

Izzy leaned against the cold ice box in her new warm sweatshirt and ate her donut, frosting first.

Kael found a soccer ball and decided to kick it around. 

It was a cool day, but he was way cooler in his new sweatshirt. 😎

  

After a few hours running around in the dirt with chocolatey fingers, they were a mess!  

Mom wrangled them in to wash up and change.

They put on their favorite new outfits and were sent back outside to enjoy a few more minutes of daylight.  Their mom had hopes that they would come back as clean as she sent them out, but she had the laundry basket waiting  ❀

A day full of donuts, soccer, fresh air, and fun!

Things you learn at the playground!

The skills to run the playground are just the start to becoming a woman who could rule the world.

Izzy can be feisty! She has no problem putting you in your place. She stands up to bullies and always protects her friends. 

She is learning courage.

Izzy is fierce and flawless especially in this pink number! Look at that attitude!

She is learning self confidence.

And stay fierce! Don't let anyone steal your ambition. Don't pass up your turn on the slide, and be the first in line again!

She is learning persistence.

Stay Fabulous! Walk onto every playground and wave at everyone you see. Let your smile light up the room. Everyone deserves a smile.

She is learning respect.  

 Izzy is famous. She talks to every kid she see's and brings extra treats in her backpack just incase someone is in need. She is the first to help you up when you fall.

She is learning compassion.  

And a life lesson to learn early, all things are possible if your wearing a good pair of shoes!

Au Revoir!

After some awesome sight seeing, eating everything in sight, and spending time with the family - Izzy's wish is to return again someday. 

This was the best vacation ever.

Kael agrees with Izzy.

He enjoyed listening to people talk and he even picked up a new word or two. 

He might try to sneak in some French back home.

Kael is ready to lead the way on todays adventures in Paris.

 He picked out his best shirt to show he is just as full of love, as this city is.

Todays destination is Kael's choice. He plugged in the address to the Eiffel Tower! After Izzy's choice yesterday they had some croissants to walk off.

He is taking entirely too long! Izzy is ready to go! And they get to stop for an éclair on their way, hurry Kael!

Allons-y!

We arrived!

First day in Paris.  Izzy is soo excited for an epic adventure.

She has her book of must see cafe's and a list of pastries to try.

Kael wants to see the Eiffel Tower but there are so many tarts to eat when will they find time?  Mom said that they all get their own day to plan an adventure.

Izzy thinks about what she wants to do on her day to pick.  

Like get dressed up and go eat French fries! 

Maybe sneak in some French toast.

A nice espresso.

Izzy quickly learned that having a good time in Paris:

That Someone Special


It's almost Valentines Day. 

And that means Izzy get's to deliver little messages of love to her favorite people. 

She couldn't wait till the 14th, she started early and she sealed each of her special messages with a kiss.

Under a rainbow shimmering with promises, with a smile filled with pride,  she made her way to her first delivery. 

 

It is said that the first valentine you give, is the one that is most important. 

Do you know who Izzy's first valentine will be?

Kael was taking a nap, dreaming of frosting when Izzy called him saying she was on her way. He knew he had to hurry, he had work to do!

It was time to put his valentines together.

Each one carried a special message, and a skittle, and was put in a little envelope. 

He could not wait to deliver his first valentine. 

Remember that first one your give is the most important.

 When he was all done, and ready to deliver,  he set out on his way. 

Kael changed into his new special shirt and ran to meet Izzy......
