Is it dinner time yet?

It was dinner time.  Izzy's plate had peas.  Izzy doesn't like peas.  She had a plan.

Izzy does like hamburgers. She thought about that time last week, when her mom brought home dinner.  It was so good, even a chocolate milkshake!

But tonight... she got peas. 

She talked Kael into making a little mess, she hoped it would mean more
burgers and fries.. if they could just find a way to  ....

....make a little mess.  If the spaghetti got spilled then they wouldn't have to eat only peas right? .... and maybe they would get some burgers and fries.

What do you think they got for dinner?  Next time, they might just eat their peas.

It's a PJ party!

Our big sister is the best! She had us over for a sleep over.  We ate pizza and we watched a movie with popped corns and played games.  She is so much fun!

She taught us a new game. Is called umm ....you posted to poke the tail on the donkey, right here ...see. 

Kael won the game. I guess he has good aims.  I even covered his eyes and spinned him around lots of times... and him still poked the tail right , I guess he won.

I think we stayed up late, way past our bedtime, but it was so much fun. When it was time to snuggle in our sleeping bags, we didn't even put up a fight.  We also didn't brush our teeth (Sssshhhhhh). 

 We were asleep before our heads even hit the pillows, and we had the best dreams ever about what she might make for breakfast.

A girl can dream. . . 

Make wherever you are magical!

Izzy closed her eyes, and thought really hard about some of her favorite places to be.  She decided to take an imaginary walk...

She was thinking about where she would start~ Oh! how about her favorite tree tunnel? 

This would be the perfect morning walk. She would spend the morning looking for squirrels, then when it was time for lunch she would go to ...

a beautiful waterfall. 

She would watch the water sparkle and dance and eat a nice packed lunch, with a pickle, and a sweet treat for desert.

Then she would move on  ...

and follow a path ..... it feels so good to walk and just enjoy some quiet time.

Eventually, the best part of  her imaginary walk ...

would be ending the day on the beach with a beautiful sunset!

See you can go anywhere you want if you just close your eyes and see it.

Sneaking doesn't pay off...

We can't live on sweets alone.

So we were told.

Izzy and Kael managed to walker their way into the snack pantry and sneak their way back out with some treats. 

They were pretty proud of themselves.. they got a way with this one.

Or so they thought.

The next day, Izzy was caught frosting faced borrowing a few cupcakes from the kitchen.  Their mom was pretty mad. Those cupcakes were for a friend who needed some cheering up. After a time out, and a no bubble bath.  They were given a little talk.

Come to find out, that if you ask, you will probably be told you can have a treat - but taking them is not ok. And sometimes mom is too busy to stop you when you are doing something wrong. But if you don't know if its okay, you maybe want to think before you do it.

And sometimes, even though something looks really good - it is not always yours to eat.  It might be for someone who needs a treat a little more.

And we didn't know that Mom was getting ready to give us cookies (since the cupcakes were for her friend) if we had only asked first.

With asking, we would have still got a treat, no time outs, and no unscheduled bubbleless baths.

Part of our punishment was eating trees.  Mom musta really been mad at us to make us eat trees.

But we knew better than to put up to much of a fuss.

After all, there were cupcakes for desert.

A walk in the garden.

Izzy spent the day enjoying a walk through the garden.

She was looking for the perfect  flower to call her favorite. 

She passed daisies, and roses, and tulips, ... and so many more. 

She could not decide what to call her favorite. 

But she did not stop looking,  

and when she had almost given up, a flower stopped her in her tracks.

She found her favorite flower.

Sometimes it takes patience, so don't pick the first flower you find. 

And it's ok to enjoy the beauty of all flowers as they are all unique. 

But when your perfect flowers blooms, it will find you, and you won't be able to miss it.
